Quilting Trail Experience Brochure & Webpage

(Corning, NY) – The Information Center of Corning, a division of the Corning Area Chamber of Commerce, has partnered with six quilt shops to create a Quilting Trail Brochure and Webpage.

The shops include Lake Country Patchwork in Hammondsport, Corning Stitch Works in Corning, Ivy Thimble in Victor, The Village Sampler in Big Flats, O’Susannah’s Quilts & Gifts in Watkins Glen, and Mt. Pleasant Quilting Company out of York.

Quilting Trail Brochures are available at the Information Center of Corning and at all participating shops. The Trail is also available on-line at http://www.corningny.com/quilting/index.html.
“The Quilt Shops included in this quilting trail are high quality and hand selected. Participants will not be disappointed” said Jennifer Mong, Director of Visitor Services at the Corning Area Chamber of Commerce.

Schedule a day or even a weekend with your quilting friends and visit all 6 shops. Make a reservation to spend the night at the new Inn at O’Susannah’s. The upstairs Inn sleeps 9, and includes a full kitchen, 2 baths, a large design wall, and a well lit sewing area with cutting and ironing space.

While you are enjoying your day shopping, be sure to mention the quilting trail and collect your mystery quilt pattern. Each shop has a different section of the pattern so all shops must be visited to collect a complete mystery quilt patchwork garden pattern.

Lake Country Patchwork offers fabric featuring local interest grape and wine prints, aviation, boating and fishing, and Asian inspired fabrics. If you are looking for authentic vintage fabrics, trims, linens and notions you can find just that at the Corning Stitch Works. Pleasant Quilting Company offers fabric, a book and pattern nook, an array of notions, kits, classes and longarm quilting services.
